| Jessica Sanchez's Memorial Day Performance |
The 16 year old and runner up on the recent American Idol Season 11 Jessica Sanchez performs at the 2012 PBS National Memorial Day concert in Washington DC last Saturday May 26.
The powerhouse soul diva are quite busy despite losing the title in AI against Phillip Phillips. Sanchez looked adorable as she rehearsed in a black skinny jeans and a high top sneakers before changing into a formal blue dress and white knee-length lacy dress for her official stage performance of the National Anthem and song "The Prayer". This is actually her first public performance after the American Idols Finals. Her military dad are in Singapore for a special mission.
Joining Jessica on stage for the annual holiday event were fellow music stars including Daughtry, Natalie Cole and country hitmaker, Trace Adkins. Not taking the loss too toughly, Sanchez seemed thrilled to have made it as far as she did during a chat with media members, explaining, "I wasn’t nervous about anything. I was actually excited, because I really thought Phillip was going to win and I was so happy for him. I think he deserves it 100%. I was just happy to be there in the top two.”

ReplyDeleteIt was unfortunate that she was unable to break the White Guys With Guitars streak in AI. I wish she won the title but then again, none of the other winners in the last couple of years have had blazing careers.
