Charlize Theron has voluntarily shaved off her hair for the much-anticipated new Mad Max movie.
The new look is to portray her role as Furiosa in Mad Max 4: Fury Road, which is set to start shooting this summer after a two-year delay due to numerous production setbacks.
Charlize said recently: "It's been three years. It's time to skin this cat already!"
The actress added: "The original Mad Max created such a vivid world, so to go back and re-imagine it and re-play in that sandbox sounds like fun to me.
"It's a really challenging piece of material... I feel very lucky."
Charlize, who recently adopted a baby, is currently having a good standing at the box office with her latest movies Prometheus and Snow White And The Huntsman.
She continued: "With everything from Young Adult to Prometheus, I feel very creatively satisfied, especially going in to Mad Max. I feel very lucky."

ReplyDeleteEven if I were an actress myself, I'd really opt for fantasy-related movies. :) I've always been fascinated with the costumes, imagination, animation, and amazing stories! And oh by the way, I love Charlize!
