Nicki Minaj is now Judge in "American Idol"

After a long months of speculation and selections, the "American Idol" judges' table has finally completed.

Joining the panel of judges Nicki Minaj and Keith Urban completed the seats together with the fellow judges Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson.

This is actually the second judging gig for Keith as he recently judged the first season of Australia’s version of “The Voice”, posting in his twitter page:  "SO excited to be joining the team on ‪@AmericanIdol!!!!!! -KU ‪#idoljudges."

Meanwhile the  "Starships" singer Nicki Minaj, posted a message in her twitter page saying, "New York auditions today & tomorrow! See ya there barbz!!!!!!!!! #AmericanIdol :p."

The announcement was made by Fox (September 16), with host Ryan Seacrest tweeting a photo of all four judges gathered together for auditions in New York City.

Also commenting on the new hires, "Idol" producer Simon Fuller offered up the following statement to press: "With the exciting addition of Mariah Carey, Keith Urban and Nicki Minaj, alongside Randy Jackson, "American Idol’s” star power has never been so great.”
